1982 Jeep CJ7 Rock Crawler Flat Tow Tag and VIN are from a 1982 CJ7 no Title I custom built this CJ from two Jeeps a 1978 and 1982 The running gear is from the 1978 The frame and cosmetics are 1982 The body. hood. fenders. windshield frame are fiberglass by 4WD Hardware The front and tailgate are metal originals Nerf bars are stainless steel Two tops Best Top Super top that can be used in about three different configurations and Best Top strapless Bikini top All body hardware and fixtures are stainless steel All dash controls are stock and work Heater is stock and rebuilt to work Engine is an AMC 304 bored 30 over with a RV cam. a Holley 650 carburetor. Edelbrock Performer intake Heavy duty clutch installed Transmission is out of a Ford 1 ton with a 7 1 first gear NP435 Transfer case is Dana 300 Rear is locked w Detroit locker and 3 94 gears Upgraded CV style rear driveshaft Rear axle has been converted to Warn Full Float this means the rear wheel can be locked in or out like the front Rear axle kit allows you to unlock and flat tow with no damage to drive train This is a perfect setup for RV towing and should you have any trail trouble you can unlock the rear and drive home with the front and still tow the Jeep home with out trail repair Front is locked with Detroit True Trac locker Headman headers with aluminum coated exhaust system All brake and fuel lines are stainless steal NO bolt or part was not overhauled or upgraded during build New heavy duty u joints all over New bearings in front and rear Heavy duty shackles with tow bar connection on front Custom wiring for towing Fuel tank is the new 21 gallon polyethylene tank for long trail runs Jeep was lifted with a 2 1 2 spring kit Then an 1 shackle lift with heavy duty Con Fer shackles Body has 1 lift with mounting hardware All bushings and mounts are polyurethane Wheels and Tires are Mickey Thompson II w BF Goodrich Comp TA Trail 33x12 5 Winch is a Trail Marker hydraulic 12.000 No winch The winch runs off the power steering system which was upgraded to AGR Super pump and box Transfer case has twin shift levers for more control In low range and first gear. the crawl ratio is over 100 1 You can walk faster than the jeep even revved up This Jeep is a real rock climbing sleeper I built the Jeep to tow behind a RV and be ready for any kind of off road challenge I was building for Moab This Jeep is real off road monster that can tackle anything. yet still cleanup and be driven around town like a normal Jeep but with a real rumble underneath I am not able to use the Jeep as I intended since my son was born I am selling to purchase a stock TJ until my son is ready for off road I will consider a trade for a clean nice stock TJ This Jeep must be seen and driven to appreciate I have more invested in the build than my first house To make it a real rock crawler. one would only have to change the spring lift kit and put larger tires on it The drive train is built with all the best components any rock crawler is using I have all receipts during the buildup The mileage is what the odometer is reading since the build. but I do not trust it With the trany swap the gearing for the odometer is not correct The speedometer is close but not accurate FULL FINANCING AVAILABLE 1 877 566 6686
