Weatherstripping is recent and in very good condition; taillights look to have been replaced at least once, but nonetheless show some typical melting and hairline cracks. Chrome bumpers look to be recent reproductions or rechromed originals, and are in very good condition. All glass on this car shows a correct date code with the exception of the windshield, and emblems are in very good condition. Judging by the tonneau cover, this car probably came from the factory with a hardtop, although both the hardtop itself and the passenger side hold-down are missing. Nonetheless, we can provide a matching hardtop for this car for an additional $3,000. Knockoff style wheels look to be recent and are in very good condition, and wear radial raised white letter tires with an average of 9/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1964 Corvette Convertible shows good condition aftermarket seat covers and door panels, as well as a good condition center console and gauges. Carpet is older and in fair condition, as is the steering wheel. A vintage cassette stereo with no manufacturer name has replaced the original AM/FM radio. Seatbelts are newer Volvo DL style. Dash pads are in very good condition with no cracks, and a Hurst shifter has been added. The engine in this car shows casting number 3970010, and casting date October 15, 1974. Stamp pad is bare. Additions to this engine compartment include red braided hoses, red master cylinder, red hood latches, red washer bottle, chrome hood hinge, polished intake manifold, polished timing cover, polished accessory brackets and water pump pulley, large polished valve covers, Holley carburetor, older coated longtube headers, 6 inch chrome air cleaner, Mallory distributor, Accel ignition wires, and a chrome water outlet.
