This is a complete original car from the north east so it has the usual rust issues. Replacement parts that go with the vehicle include a complete front end to include fenders, hood and grille, replacement rocker panels and miscellaneous nos trim parts. This is a restorable car not to be confused with being a "parts car". 1953 was the last year for the 3 piece rear window and the first year for the one piece windshield. The windshield has a rock chip and crack in the lower left but all 1953 windshields are the same so a replacement would not be hard to find. The right rear window is cracked, flat glass, can be easily replaced. The 180 hp 331 hemi is complete and has the fluid matic drive. Based on the cars condition I believe the mileage to be the odometer reading but I can not guarantee that. The # 1 spark plug wire has the red boot which is indicative of original equipment. The original color was dark blue as can be seen from the firewall and door jambs. The factory markings are still on the firewall. I have not started the car for over a year and the brakes are not operable at present. An original repair manual and other literature are also included. The car is located just north of Charlotte, NC and is easily accessible from I-77 or I-85.
