The tour produced by Sanderson Sales and Marketing from 2001-2003 was in celebration of the Cobra's 40th Anniversary. Along the tour, numerous celebrities, sports figures, and rock legends, famous race car drivers, and Carroll Shelby himself drove the car at Track Events, Parades, Celebrity Golf Tournaments and Cars Shows. It was driven by over 50 Nationally Recognized Stars Famous Race Car Drivers and Athletes including Carroll Shelby, Bill Nead, Bob Bondurant, Dennis Quaid, Tom Sneva, Reba McIntyre, Jim McMahon, Lyle Waggoner, John O'Hurley, Dan Kruise, Tim Allen, Lenny Kravitz and many others.
